An Act relating to: amending and revising section 409.109 (1) (intro.) of the statutes for the purpose of reconciling conflicts and repelling unintended repeals (Revisor's Correction Bill).
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
64,1 Section 1. 409.109 (1) (intro.) of the statutes, as affected by 2001 Wisconsin Act 10, is amended to read:
409.109 (1) General scope of chapter. (intro.) Except as otherwise provided in subs. (3) and (4), and s. 16.63 (4) on transactions involving tobacco settlement revenues, this chapter applies to:
Note: 2001 Wis. Act 10 repealed and recreated chapter 409. 2001 Wis. Act 16, Section 3492, amends s. 409.102 (1) (intro.) as it existed prior to Act 10 and is without effect. The subject matter of the former s. 409.102 (1) (intro.), the scope of chapter 409, is now contained in s. 409.109 (1) (intro.). This bill inserts the language of Act 16, Section 3492, into that section.
