2003 WISCONSIN ACT 266
An Act to amend 5.05 (11) and 25.425; and to create 20.510 (1) (d) and 20.510 (1) (t) of the statutes; relating to: state contribution towards certain federally financed election administration costs and making appropriations.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
5.05 (11) Aids to counties and municipalities. From the appropriation appropriations under s. 20.510 (1) (t) and (x), the board may provide financial assistance to eligible counties and municipalities for election administration costs.

20.510 (1) (d) of the statutes is created to read:
(d) Election administration transfer.
The amounts in the schedule to meet federal requirements for the conduct of federal elections under P.L. 107-252
, to be transferred to the appropriation account under par. (t).

20.510 (1) (t) of the statutes is created to read:
(t) Election administration.
From the election administration fund, the amounts in the schedule to meet federal requirements for the conduct of federal elections under P.L. 107-252
. All moneys transferred from the appropriation account under par. (d) shall be credited to this appropriation account.
25.425 Election administration fund.
There is established a separate nonlapsible trust fund, designated the election administration fund, consisting of all moneys received from the federal government under P.L. 107-252 and all moneys transferred to the fund from other funds
In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the joint committee on finance under section 20.865 (4) (a) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2003, the dollar amount is increased by $477,000 for fiscal year 2003-04 for the purpose of meeting federal requirements for the conduct of federal elections under P.L. 107-252
