The Department of Health and Family Services is pleased to submit to the Governor and the Legislature the Wisconsin Tobacco Prevention and Control Program, 2006 Annual Report. The report is required by s. 255.15(4) Wis. Stats as enacted under 2003 Wisconsin Act 33.
Wisconsin continued its success during 2006 in preventing youth tobacco use, promoting the treatment of tobacco addiction, promoting the elimination of tobacco-related disparities and preventing exposure to secondhand smoke.
These successes mark the continued importance of tobacco prevention and control in Wisconsin.
