[MOTION] (a)   To recreate the standing committees of the Senate pursuant to Senate Rule 20 (1) (c).
(b)   Each committee in existence at the time this motion is adopted is recreated in its entirety and retains jurisdiction over all items in the committee at the time this motion is adopted, except as follows:
i.   The committee on Economic Development, Job Creation, Family Prosperity, and Housing is renamed the committee on Economic Development. All items in the committee on Economic Development, Job Creation, Family Prosperity, and Housing at the time this motion is adopted shall be in the committee on Economic Development, unless rereferred pursuant to Senate rules.
ii.   The committee on Transportation, Tourism, and Insurance is renamed the committee on Transportation and Tourism. All items in the committee on Transportation, Tourism, and Insurance at the time this motion is adopted shall be in the committee on Transportation and Tourism, unless rereferred pursuant to Senate rules.
iii.   The committee on Judiciary and Corrections is renamed the committee on Judiciary, Corrections, and Housing. All items in the committee on Judiciary and Corrections at the time this motion is adopted shall be in the committee on Judiciary, Corrections, and Housing, unless rereferred pursuant to Senate rules.
iv.   The committee on Health and Human Services is renamed the committee on Health, Human Services, Insurance, and Job Creation. All items in the committee on Health and Human Services at the time this motion is adopted shall be in the committee on Health, Human Services, Insurance, and Job Creation, unless rereferred pursuant to Senate rules.

The Honorable, the Senate:
Today, the Committee on Senate Organization reorganized the standing committees of the Senate. In conjunction with this reorganization and pursuant to Senate Rule 20 (2) (a), I am making the following majority party appointments to Senate committees (minority party appointments to Senate committees will be forthcoming, based upon nominations by the Minority Leader):
Senator Robson replaces Senator Miller as Vice Chair of the Senate Committee on Ethics Reform and Government Operations.
The members of the Senate Committee on Health, Human Services, Insurance, and Job Creation are the members of the former Senate Committee on Health and Human Services, except that Senator Breske replaces Senator Sullivan.
The members of the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Corrections, and Housing are the members of the former Senate Committee on Judiciary and Corrections.
The members of the Senate Committee on Transportation and Tourism are the members of the former Senate Committee on Transportation, Tourism, and Insurance.
The members of the Senate Committee on Tax Fairness and Family Prosperity are Senators Jauch (Chair), Kreitlow (Vice Chair), and Vinehout.
