ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 13, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 493

AB493-AA13,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB493-AA13,1,3 1. Page 1, line 2: delete the material beginning with "exemption" and ending with "from" on line 3.

AB493-AA13,1,4 2. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

AB493-AA13,1,5 " Section 1c. 5.02 (1w) of the statutes is created to read:

AB493-AA13,1,11 5.02 (1w) "Conform," when used with reference to the name of an individual that appears on proof of identification, includes, but is not limited to, a substantially similar name, a nickname, initials substituted for the first or middle name, a misspelled name, a shortened or informal form of a name, a slightly erroneous version of a name, a name that appears to contain a transposition error, and a name that includes or excludes a suffix or hyphenation that should or should not appear.".
