1An Act to create 20.285 (1) (e) and 36.25 (54) of the statutes;
relating to:
2assisting University of Wisconsin System students in securing internships with
3businesses and making an appropriation.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill requires the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System
to make efforts to assist students in the system's two-year and and four-year schools
in securing internships with businesses. The bill also requires the Board of Regents
to create full-time equivalent positions to coordinate those efforts.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

(54) Internship coordinators. The board shall make efforts to assist
7college campus and university students in securing internships with businesses.
8The board shall create full-time equivalent positions to be funded from the
9appropriation under s. 20.285 (1) (e) for the purpose of coordinating those efforts.
