2017 WISCONSIN ACT 56
An Act relating to: the sale of White Mound County Park to Sauk County.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
56,1 Section 1. Nonstatutory provisions.
(1) No later than 60 days after the effective date of this subsection and upon payment by Sauk County of $1, the department of natural resources, acting on behalf of the state of Wisconsin, shall cede, grant, and convey all rights, title, and interest in White Mound County Park to Sauk County, on the condition that the property be used by the county for recreational purposes. If Sauk County does not use White Mound County Park for recreational purposes, all rights, title, and interest in the park revert to the state. This transaction is not subject to the approval of the natural resources board.
