AB777-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB777-AA1,1,3 21. Page 3, line 18: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with
3page 4, line 5, and substitute:
AB777-AA1,1,4 4“36.27 (3g) Foster care remissions. (a) In this subsection:
AB777-AA1,1,65 1. “Eligible individual” means a state resident to whom any of the following
6applies:
AB777-AA1,1,87 a. He or she resided in an out-of-home care placement on his or her 18th
8birthday.
AB777-AA1,1,119 b. He or she resided in an out-of-home care placement and after his or her 13th
10birthday, he or she was adopted or appointed a non-agency guardian under s. 48.977
11or 54.10 (1).

1c. He or she resided in an out-of-home care placement for at least one year on
2or after his or her 13th birthday and he or she returned to live in the home of his or
3her parent after termination of the order.
AB777-AA1,2,64 2. “Federal assistance” means any federal scholarship, grant, or aid, other than
5a loan, provided to a student or to a student's educational institution on behalf of a
6student.
AB777-AA1,2,97 3. “Out-of-home care placement” means the placement of a child out of his or
8her home, in this state, under a court order under s. 48.355, 48.357, 48.365, 938.355,
9938.357, or 938.365.”.
