NOTICE OF SUBMITTAL OF RULES TO LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL RULES CLEARINGHOUSE

State Aid for Achievement Guarantee Contracts and Partial Debt Service Reimbursement

On June 14, 2016, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse.

The scope statement for this rule, SS 71-15, was published in Register No. 716A2, on August 10, 2015, and approved by State Superintendent Tony Evers on August 24, 2015. Pursuant to

Coyne v. Walker, the Department of Public Instruction is not required to obtain the Governor’s approval for the statement of scope for this rule. Coyne v. Walker, 2016 WI 38.

The proposed rule amends ch. PI 24, relating to changes to PI 24 as a result of 2011 Wisconsin Act 105 and 2015 Wisconsin Act 53.

Public hearings will be scheduled as required under s. 227.16 (1), Stats.
