The Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (“Department”) announces that is has referred the following proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse, pursuant to s. 227.15, Stats. SUBJECT: Labeling and Other Requirements for Non-Commercial Seed Sharing

The Department will hold a public hearing on this rule on July 27, 2016, in Madison.
The scope statement for this rule, SS 023-15, was approved by the Governor on March 5, 2015, published in Register No. 711A3 on March 16, 2015, and approved by the Board of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as required by s. 227.135(2), Stats., on May 13, 2015.
