PROPOSED RULE TO LEGISLATIVE

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection announces that it has referred the following proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse, pursuant to s. 227.15, Stats. SUBJECT: Meat and Poultry Products

The Department will hold five public hearings on this rule on November 16 in Sheboygan, November 22 in Rhinelander, November 24 in Madison, December 1 in Eau Claire, and December 8, 2017, in Shawano, WI.
The statement of scope for this rule, SS 078-16, was approved by the Governor on August 23, 2016; published in Register No. 728B on August 29, 2016; and approved by the Board of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as required by s. 227.135(2), Stats., on September 8, 2016.
