Notice of Submittal of a Proposed Rule to the
Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
The Department of Children and Families submitted a proposed rule to the Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse on January 5, 2018.
The statement of scope for this rule, SS 080-17, was approved by the Governor on July 26, 2017; published in Register No. 740A3 on August 21, 2017; and approved by Secretary Eloise Anderson on September 7, 2017. Analysis
The proposed rules affect chs. DCF 42, 49, 50, and 51, relating to facilitating public adoptions and adoption assistance; preadoption training. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held in Madison on February 7, 2018. The organizational unit responsible for the promulgation of the proposed rule is the Division of Safety and Permanence.
