NOTICE OF HEARING

Rules Relating to Grain Dealers, Grain Warehouse Keepers, and Milk Contactors

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (“Department”) will convene a public hearing on an emergency rule for milk contractors (ATCP 100) and on a proposed permanent rule for grain dealers, grain warehouse keepers, and milk contractors (ATCP 99 & 100).

The Department will hold one public hearing for both rules at the time and place shown below.

The Department invites the public to attend the hearing and to comment on the emergency rule and proposed permanent rule. The Department is accepting written comments now and will continue to accept written comments until September 24, 2018, two weeks after the public hearing. Comments may be emailed to [e-mail] or may be submitted online at http://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/code/comment, after selecting either Clearinghouse Rules Open for Comment (to comment on the permanent rule) or Emergency Rules Open for Comment (to comment on the emergency rule). You may also send comments by mail to the Department at the address at the bottom of this notice.

The draft rule and related documents, including an economic impact analysis and a regulatory flexibility analysis, are available online at http://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/code/comment. Copies of the documents will be available at the hearing.
