NOTICE OF HEARING

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (“DATCP”) announces that it will hold public hearings on a proposed rule (ATCP 51) to implement Wisconsin’s Livestock Facility Siting Law (s. 93.90, Stats.). The department will hold four public hearings at the dates, location, and times shown below.

Times: 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Date: Tuesday, August 20, 2019
Location: Entrepreneurial & Education Center, 100 N. 72nd Ave., Wausau, WI
Times: 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

The department invites the public to attend the hearings and comment on the proposed rule. Following the public hearings, the hearing record will remain open until September 6, 2019, for additional written public comments. Comments may be sent to the Division of Agricultural Resource Management at the address below, or to livestocksitingcomments@wisconsin.gov or to http://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/code/comment.
