An Act to create 110.20 (6m) of the statutes; relating to: required emissions inspections of motor vehicles transferred to surviving spouses.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
46,1 Section 1 . 110.20 (6m) of the statutes is created to read:
110.20 (6m) Prohibited inspections. The department may not require an emissions inspection of any vehicle prior to the inspection of the vehicle scheduled under sub. (6) (a) 1. or (9) (d) or (j) if an interest in the vehicle is transferred to a surviving spouse under s. 342.17 (4).
