2009 WISCONSIN ACT 144
An Act to create 14.16 (13) of the statutes; relating to: directing the governor to annually proclaim March 25 as Medal of Honor Day.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
144,1 Section 1. 14.16 (13) of the statutes is created to read:
14.16 (13) Medal of honor day. The governor shall annually proclaim March 25 as Medal of Honor Day to celebrate and honor those members of the U.S. armed forces who have been awarded the Medal of Honor for their valor in action above and beyond the call of duty and to recognize their bravery, heroism, and sacrifice for the United States.
