SB144-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB144-AA1,1,2 1. Page 8, line 9: before that line insert:

SB144-AA1,1,6 "(aw) A sheriff may store a firearm surrendered to him or her under par. (a) 2. in a warehouse that is operated by a public warehouse keeper licensed under ch. 99. If a sheriff stores a firearm at a warehouse under this paragraph, the respondent shall pay the costs charged by the warehouse for storing that firearm.".
