SENATE AMENDMENT 19, TO SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 2, TO SENATE BILL 1

SB1-SSA2-SA19,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB1-SSA2-SA19,1,3 " Section 31d. 70.38 (5) of the statutes is created to read:

SB1-SSA2-SA19,1,11 70.38 (5) Hiring Wisconsin residents. Each person extracting ferrous metallic minerals from a mine in this state shall hire only Wisconsin residents to work at the mine site. Annually, in the manner prescribed by the department of revenue, each person extracting ferrous metallic minerals from a mine in this state shall submit a report to the department certifying that each individual hired to work at the mine site during the preceding calendar year was a Wisconsin resident at the time that the individual was hired. The provisions of this subsection are severable as provided in s. 990.001 (11).".
