ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 13, TO SENATE BILL 206

SB206-AA13,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the engrossed bill as follows:

SB206-AA13,1,2 1. Page 7, line 3: after "performed" insert "or refused".

SB206-AA13,1,3 2. Page 7, line 10: after " ultrasound" insert "is refused or the".

SB206-AA13,1,4 3. Page 9, line 13: after "under" insert "par. (b) and".

SB206-AA13,1,5 4. Page 9, line 19: delete "whichever" and substitute "a".

SB206-AA13,1,7 5. Page 9, line 20: delete "the woman chooses after the options have been explained to her." and substitute "to perform a transabdominal ultrasound.".

SB206-AA13,2,3 6. Page 10, line 13: after "heartbeat." insert "Notwithstanding the requirement to obtain a transabdominal ultrasound under par. (a) 1., obtaining a transvaginal ultrasound satisfies the requirements under par. (a). If a pregnant woman visits a facility that offers ultrasounds attempting to satisfy the requirements of this subsection and the facility only offers transvaginal ultrasounds, the pregnant woman may refuse to undergo a transvaginal ultrasound and is considered to satisfy the requirements of this subsection. No person may require a pregnant woman to undergo a transvaginal ultrasound.".

SB206-AA13,2,8 8. Page 11, line 2: after "are satisfied." insert "If the pregnant woman refuses under par. (b) to undergo a transvaginal ultrasound, the physician shall certify on the form that she refuses and satisfies the requirements of this subsection.".
