SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE BILL 333

SB333-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB333-SA1,1,2 1. Page 3, line 7: delete "available" and substitute "released under sub. (7)".

SB333-SA1,1,3 2. Page 3, line 8: delete " available" and substitute "the released".

SB333-SA1,1,4 3. Page 4, line 6: after that line insert:

SB333-SA1,1,5 " Section 8m. 49.163 (7) of the statutes is created to read:

SB333-SA1,2,2 49.163 (7) Funding for the Transitional Jobs program. Before implementing the Transitional Jobs program, the department shall submit to the joint committee on finance a request for the release of funds for the program. If the joint committee on finance approves the request, the joint committee on finance shall release to the department from the appropriation under s. 20.865 (4) (a) up to $440,000 in each fiscal year of the 2013-15 fiscal biennium to supplement one or more general purpose revenue sum certain appropriations of the department for the Transitional Jobs program. The department may not use any federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families block grant funds received under 42 USC 601 et seq. for the Transitional Jobs program.".
