AB175-ASA1,1,2 An Act to create 11.1205 (2) (e) of the statutes; relating to: communications by members of the legislature.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

AB175-ASA1,1 Section 1. 11.1205 (2) (e) of the statutes is created to read:

AB175-ASA1,1,9 11.1205 (2) (e) A communication made by a person elected to state or local office to an address located within the jurisdiction represented by that person within 8 days following declaration of a state of emergency by the governor under s. 323.10 affecting any location within the jurisdiction represented by that person if the communication relates solely to the subject of the emergency, except no such communication may be made within 7 days prior to any primary or election.
