ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 788

AB788-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB788-AA1,1,6 1. Page 2, line 2: delete the material beginning with "the number" and ending with "FTE" on line 3 and substitute "funding to aging and disability resource centers for the number of aging and disability resource center dementia care specialists funded by the department as of fiscal year 2015-2016, plus the additional aging and disability resource center".

AB788-AA1,1,7 2. Page 2, line 10: after that line insert:

AB788-AA1,1,13 "(3) Notwithstanding section 16.42 (1) (e) of the statutes, in submitting information for purposes of the 2017-19 biennial budget bill, in addition to reflecting the fiscal changes under Section 2 (1) of this act, the department of health services shall submit information increasing the adjusted base funding level in the appropriation under section 20.435 (7) (b) of the statutes by $960,000 to continue funding for dementia care specialists in aging and disability resource centers.".

AB788-AA1,2,2 3. Page 2, line 15: delete the material beginning with "the authorized" and ending with "July 1, 2016," on line 16 and substitute "funding".

AB788-AA1,2,3 4. Page 2, line 19: delete "20.435 (7) (b)" and substitute "20.435 (4) (a)".
