AB790-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB790-SA1,1,3 21. Page 1, line 2: after "teams" insert ", funding for dementia care specialists
3in aging and disability resource centers,".
AB790-SA1,1,4 42. Page 2, line 7: before that line insert:
AB790-SA1,1,10 5"(3) Existing dementia care specialists. In fiscal years beginning after fiscal
6year 2016-17, the department of health services shall maintain funding to aging and
7disability resource centers for the number of aging and disability resource center
8dementia care specialists authorized under 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, plus the
9additional aging and disability resource center positions authorized under Section
104 (2) and (3) of this act.
AB790-SA1,2,311 (4) Dementia care specialist report. By July 1, 2017, the department of health
12services shall submit to the members of the joint committee on finance a report on
13the FTE position authorized for fiscal year 2016-17 for the training of dementia care

1specialists in aging and disability resource centers, including educating employers
2about issues related to dementia in their employees and family members of
3employees. The report shall include information about staff and training activities.
AB790-SA1,2,104 (5) Dementia care specialist base adjustment. Notwithstanding section 16.42
5(1) (e) of the statutes, in submitting information for purposes of the 2017-19 biennial
6budget bill, in addition to reflecting the fiscal changes under Section 4 (2) of this act,
7the department of health services shall submit information increasing the adjusted
8base funding level in the appropriation under section 20.435 (7) (b) of the statutes
9by $960,000 to continue funding for dementia care specialists in aging and disability
10resource centers.".
AB790-SA1,2,12 113. Page 2, line 12: after that line, before the material inserted by assembly
12amendment 1, insert:
AB790-SA1,2,18 13"(2) Dementia care specialist funding. In the schedule under section 20.005
14(3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of health services under
15section 20.435 (7) (b) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2015, the dollar amount
16for fiscal year 2016-17 is increased by $320,000 to increase funding for dementia care
17specialists in aging and disability resource centers in counties with a population
18under 150,000.
AB790-SA1,3,219 (3) Training; educating employers. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3)
20of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of health services under
21section 20.435 (4) (a) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2015, the dollar amount
22for fiscal year 2016-17 is increased by $93,000 to increase the authorized FTE
23positions for the department by 1.0 GPR position on July 1, 2016, for the training of
24dementia care specialists in aging and disability resource centers, including

1educating employers about issues related to dementia in their employees and family
2members of employees.".
