ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 11, TO ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 92

AB92-ASA1-AA11,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB92-ASA1-AA11,1,2 1. Page 1, line 9: after "responsibility," insert "making an appropriation,".

AB92-ASA1-AA11,1,3 2. Page 1, line 11: before that line insert:

AB92-ASA1-AA11,1,4 " Section 1c. 20.395 (5) (kq) of the statutes is created to read:

AB92-ASA1-AA11,1,7 20.395 (5) (kq) Insurance subsidy payments. A sum sufficient to make payments to persons qualifying for subsidies under the motor vehicle liability insurance subsidy program under s. 85.64.

AB92-ASA1-AA11,1f Section 1f. 85.64 of the statutes is created to read:

AB92-ASA1-AA11,2,3 85.64 Insurance subsidy program. The department shall develop and administer a motor vehicle liability insurance subsidy program. Under the program, the department shall provide subsidies from the appropriation under s. 20.395 (5) (kq) to persons whose income does not exceed 150 percent of the poverty line as defined under 42 USC 9902 (2). The subsidies shall be sufficient to permit the person receiving the subsidy to reasonably afford a motor vehicle liability policy as defined under s. 344.61 (2).".
