SB384-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB384-SA1,1,3 21. Page 1, line 4: delete the material beginning with "Trail" and ending with
3"appropriation" on line 5 and substitute "Trail".
SB384-SA1,1,5 42. Page 1, line 6: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with
5page 3, line 4, and substitute:
SB384-SA1,1,6 6" Section 2m. 41.11 (1) (h) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB384-SA1,1,117 41.11 (1) (h) Annually report to the senate natural resources committee and
8the assembly committee on tourism the activities, marketing efforts, receipts, and
9disbursements of the department for the previous fiscal year. The report under this
10paragraph shall include information on the marketing efforts conducted for the
11Frank Lloyd Wright Trail established under s. 84.10255.

7interested parties, including any county, municipality, state agency other than the
8department, or federal agency, to cover the costs of fabricating, erecting, and
9maintaining markers along the route specified in sub. (1) to identify to motorists the
10designation of the route as the "Frank Lloyd Wright Trail" and the location of
11buildings designed or constructed by Frank Lloyd Wright that are open to the public
12and that are within 15 miles of the route specified in sub. (1), the department shall
13erect and maintain the markers.
SB384-SA1,2,1714 (b) 1. Except as provided in subd. 2., the department may not encumber or
15expend any state funds from any appropriation to the department under s. 20.395
16for the costs of fabrication, erection, maintenance, or replacement of markers
17identified in par. (a).
SB384-SA1,2,2118 2. The department may encumber or expend funds received as contributions
19to cover the costs of fabrication, erection, maintenance, or replacement of markers
20identified in par. (a) that may include funds received from another state agency for
21this purpose.
SB384-SA1,3,222 3. The department may not encumber or expend any federal funds from any
23appropriation to the department under s. 20.395 for the costs of fabrication, erection,
24maintenance, or replacement of markers identified in par. (a) except federal funds

1expressly allocated by federal law or by the applicable federal agency for the markers
2identified in par. (a).".

SB384-SA1,3,7 5(1) The department of transportation shall determine the dollar amount
6necessary to fabricate and erect the signs required under section 84.10255 of the
7statutes, as created by this act, and report the amount to the department of tourism.
SB384-SA1,3,10 8(2) From the appropriation under section 20.380 (1) (b) of the statutes, the
9department of tourism shall provide to the department of transportation an amount
10equal to the amount determined in subsection (1), but not to exceed $50,000.".
