SENATE AMENDMENT 8, TO SENATE BILL 707

SB707-SA8,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB707-SA8,1,3 1. Page 1, line 2: after "executive" insert "and prohibiting employment by a former member of the legislature as a lobbyist".

SB707-SA8,1,4 2. Page 1, line 5: after that line insert:

SB707-SA8,1,5 " Section 1g. 19.45 (8m) of the statutes is created to read:

SB707-SA8,1,8 19.45 (8m) No individual who serves as a member of the legislature, for 12 months following the date on which the individual ceases to hold office, may be employed as a lobbyist, as defined in s. 13.62 (11).".
