SB87-SA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 6: after that line insert:

SB87-SA1,1,7 "(3) The department may not prohibit a city, village, town, or county from requiring, by ordinance, inspection of an addition to, or a remodeling, improvement, or other alteration of, an existing one- or 2-family dwelling the total cost of which does not exceed 20 percent of the assessed value of the one- or 2-family dwelling for property tax purposes.".
