AB236-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB236-AA2,1,2 1. Page 1, line 2: before that line insert:

AB236-AA2,1,3 “ Section 1v. 234.66 of the statutes is created to read:

AB236-AA2,1,9 234.66 State housing voucher program. (1) Vouchers. (a) The authority shall develop policies and procedures for and administer a state housing voucher program to provide housing vouchers to individuals and families that are on a waiting list that the authority or a public housing agency that contracts with the authority maintains for vouchers under the federal Housing Choice Voucher Program.

AB236-AA2,1,13 (am) The authority shall make grants directly to housing authorities under s. 59.53 (22), 61.73, 66.1201, or 66.1213 for the purpose of funding vouchers under this section, subject to the policies and procedures developed under par. (a) and the requirements of this section.

AB236-AA2,2,5 (b) Vouchers provided under this section shall be distributed in proportion to the number of vouchers distributed by the authority, public housing agencies that contract with the authority to provide vouchers under the federal Housing Choice Voucher Program, and housing authorities under s. 59.53 (22), 61.73, 66.1201, or 66.1213 that provide vouchers under the federal Housing Choice Voucher Program.

AB236-AA2,2,8 (c) The authority shall issue its negotiable bonds in such principal amount and length of maturity as to provide sufficient funds, not to exceed $2,750,000, to fund the voucher program under par. (a).

AB236-AA2,2,11 (2) Conditions. (a) The housing vouchers provided under this section shall be provided to recipients under the same terms and conditions as vouchers under the federal Housing Choice Voucher Program.

AB236-AA2,2,13 (b) A person who receives a federal Housing Choice Voucher may not receive a voucher under this section.”.

AB236-AA2,2,18 4. Page 2, line 4: after “services" insert “, including assistance funding and maintaining housing,".

AB236-AA2,3,4 5. Page 2, line 5: after “list." insert “The authority shall issue its negotiable bonds in such principal amount and length of maturity as to provide sufficient funds, not to exceed $500,000, to fund the provision of case management services under this subsection. Of the funding available under this subsection, the authority shall provide $75,000 to fund case management services for recipients of vouchers distributed by the authority and public housing agencies that contract with the authority to provide vouchers under the federal Housing Choice Voucher Program and $425,000 to fund case management services for recipients of vouchers distributed by local housing authorities under ss. 59.53 (22), 61.73, 66.1201, and 66.1213 that provide vouchers under the federal Housing Choice Voucher Program.".
