SENATE AMENDMENT 16, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 64

AB64-SA16,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by assembly substitute amendment 1, as follows:

AB64-SA16,1,3 1. Page 692, line 2: after that line insert:

AB64-SA16,1,4 “ Section 1208n. 79.01 (2d) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB64-SA16,2,2 79.01 (2d) There is established an account in the general fund entitled the “County and Municipal Aid Account." The total amount to be distributed in 2011 to counties and municipalities from the county and municipal aid account is $824,825,715 and, the total amount to be distributed to counties and municipalities each year beginning in 2012, and in each year thereafter and ending in 2017, from the county and municipal aid account is $748,075,715, the total amount to be distributed to counties and municipalities in 2018 and in 2019, from the county and municipal aid account is $860,287,072, and the total amount to be distributed to counties and municipalities in 2020, and in each year thereafter, is the amount distributed in the previous year, multiplied by 0.2 percent.

AB64-SA16,1208o Section 1208o. 79.035 (5) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB64-SA16,2,7 79.035 (5) Except as provided in sub. subs. (5m) and (6), for the distribution in 2013 and subsequent years, each county and municipality shall receive a payment under this section that is equal to the amount of the payment determined for the county or municipality under this section for 2012.

AB64-SA16,1208p Section 1208p. 79.035 (5m) of the statutes is created to read:

AB64-SA16,2,17 79.035 (5m) For the distribution in 2018 and 2019, each county and municipality shall receive a payment under this section that is equal to the amount of the payment determined for the county or municipality under this section for 2012, plus the county's or municipality's proportionate share of $14,961,514. For the distribution in 2020 and subsequent years, each county and municipality shall receive a payment under this section that is equal to the amount of the payment determined for the county or municipality under this section for 2019, plus the county's or municipality's proportionate share of the increase specified under s. 79.01 (2d).”.
