SENATE AMENDMENT 2, TO SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE BILL 15

SB15-SSA1-SA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB15-SSA1-SA2,1,2 1. Page 9, line 23: delete “2." and substitute “3.".

SB15-SSA1-SA2,1,3 2. Page 10, line 6: delete “2." and substitute “3.".

SB15-SSA1-SA2,1,6 3. Page 10, line 7: after “whether" insert “, after consideration of the costs under subd. 1. and the benefits under subd. 2., the net costs of the proposed rule will be".

SB15-SSA1-SA2,1,8 4. Page 10, line 7: delete the material beginning with “in" and ending with “rule" on line 10.

SB15-SSA1-SA2,1,9 5. Page 10, line 10: after that line insert:

SB15-SSA1-SA2,1,11 “ Section 8g. 227.137 (3) (c) of the statutes is renumbered 227.137 (3) (b) 2. and amended to read:

An analysis of the actual and quantifiable benefits of the proposed rule, including an assessment of how effective the proposed rule will be in addressing the policy problem that the rule is intended to address. With respect to an independent economic impact analysis prepared under sub. (4m) or s. 227.19 (5) (b) 3., the person preparing the analysis shall provide a detailed explanation of any variance from the agency's estimate under this subdivision.”.
