AB234-AA6,1,2 1. Page 21, line 17: delete lines 17 to 21 and substitute:

AB234-AA6,1,5 “(d) Application fees. 1. Except as provided in subd. 1m. and subject to subds. 2. and 3., a state or political subdivision may not charge an application fee that exceeds any of the following:”.

AB234-AA6,1,6 2. Page 22, line 2: after that line insert:

AB234-AA6,1,10 “1m. A state or political subdivision may charge application fees that are greater than the amounts specified in subd. 1. if the state or political subdivision demonstrates that the greater amounts are reasonable, nondiscriminatory, and recover no more than governmental units' direct cost for processing applications.”.
