1. Infant mortality prevention program
This bill requires DHS to allocate five of its full-time equivalent positions to staff an infant mortality prevention program.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
Section 9119.
Nonstatutory provisions; Health Services.
(1) Infant mortality prevention program. The department of health services shall allocate 5.0 FTE positions that are authorized for the department of health services to staff an infant mortality prevention program. The department of health services shall report in its 2021-23 budget request any necessary budget adjustments to reflect this allocation of positions.
