1995 Assembly Joint Resolution 74
ENROLLED JOINT RESOLUTION
Relating to: the life and public service of Sheriff Fred Schram.
Whereas, Fred Schram was born on February 14, 1934, in Sauk County and died in Lone Rock on January 1, 1996; and
Whereas, he was a member of the Lone Rock fire department for 41 years; a member of the Richland County sheriff's posse for 14 years; a member of the Lone Rock village board for 16 years; and an emergency medical technician for 20 years; and
Whereas, he also served as chair of the Richland County Highway Safety Commission and was a member of the Richland County Council on Drugs and Alcohol; the Richland County Professionals for the Prevention of Child Abuse; the Richland County Domestic Abuse Task Force; the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Law Enforcement Advisory Board; and the Richland County 911 Committee; and
Whereas, Mr. Schram served effectively for 9 years as sheriff of Richland County; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the Wisconsin legislature state their admiration for the many decades of devoted public service that Fred Schram rendered to the people of Richland County, express their sorrow at his death and extend their condolences to his family and friends; and be it further
Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide copies of this joint resolution to Mr. Schram's wife, Lorraine; and to his son, Mike, and his daughter, Michelle Neverman.
