1997 Assembly Joint Resolution 53
ENROLLED JOINT RESOLUTION
Relating to: the life and public service of Stan Pelecky.
Whereas, Stan T. Pelecky was born on April 27, 1934, in Milwaukee, and died on March 24, 1997; and
Whereas, after proceeding through the Milwaukee public schools, Mr. Pelecky earned a B.S. degree in mathematics and physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison; and
Whereas, he served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps and as an attorney for the 32nd Infantry Division; and
Whereas, he was elected to the assembly in 1962; and
Whereas, during his term in the assembly Mr. Pelecky was a member of the State Affairs Committee; and
Whereas, he also served as Representative Henry Reuss' home secretary; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the Wisconsin legislature commend Stan Pelecky's public service, express their sorrow at his death and extend their condolences to his family and friends; and, be it further
Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide copies of this joint resolution to Stan Pelecky's children; Diandra Leslie-Pelecky, Ted Pelecky and Steven Pelecky.
