ENROLLED JOINT RESOLUTION
Relating to: proclaiming National Garden Week in Wisconsin.
Whereas, gardening is an illustration of respect and care for our environment and natural resources; and
Whereas, the gardeners and growers of the state of Wisconsin produce fruits and vegetables that provide nutritional sustenance for our citizens; and
Whereas, these gardeners work diligently to beautify our communities by the propagation of trees, flowers and ornamentals; and
Whereas, our gardeners help to preserve our American traditions in an expression of independence, creativity and initiative; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the members of the legislature of the state of Wisconsin proclaim the first week in June of each year as "National Garden Week in Wisconsin".
