2013 Senate Joint Resolution 23
ENROLLED JOINT RESOLUTION
Relating to: commending Bellin Memorial Hospital for being named the nation's safest hospital.
Whereas, Bellin Memorial Hospital was named the safest hospital in the nation in April 2013 by Consumer Reports; and
Whereas, Bellin received a score of 74 out of 100, ranking ahead of 2,031 hospitals nationwide; and
Whereas, this score is an improvement from a report in August 2012 in which it received a 72; and
Whereas, Bellin has continued to keep pace with exciting technological advances and has maintained a reputation as an industry leader; and
Whereas, maintaining a high standard for safety and quality care has helped Bellin be a successful and effective hospital; and
Whereas, Bellin has been providing quality health care to Northeast Wisconsin for over 100 years with a strong focus on patient experience and care; and
Whereas, Bellin continues to move forward and improve upon its status as the top-rated hospital with a passionate focus on the future; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the members of the Wisconsin legislature commend Bellin Memorial Hospital for being named the nation's safest hospital.
