As required by state statute, we have audited the financial statements of the Wisconsin Lottery for the period July 1, 1997 through June 30, 1998 and have issued our report on these statements, dated August 9, 1999.

In our report, we provide an unqualified, or "clean," opinion on the Wisconsin Lottery' financial statements. The audit report includes no major findings, conclusions, or recommendations.
Copies of the audit report have been distributed to members of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee and those required by law to receive them. If you are interested in receiving a copy of this report, please contact our office and request report number 99-11. The report is also available on line at www.legis.state.wi.us\lab\windex.htm.
