The Honorable, The Senate:
As required by state statute, we have audited the financial statements of the Wisconsin Lottery for the period July 1, 1997 through June 30, 1998 and have issued our report on these statements, dated August 9, 1999.
Our financial audit included tests to ensure that the Wisconsin Lottery's financial statements are fairly presented and to assess its control policies and procedures and its compliance with statutory requirements. In our report, we provide an unqualified, or "clean," opinion on the Wisconsin Lottery' financial statements. The audit report includes no major findings, conclusions, or recommendations.
Copies of the audit report have been distributed to members of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee and those required by law to receive them. If you are interested in receiving a copy of this report, please contact our office and request report number 99-11. The report is also available on line at www.legis.state.wi.us\lab\windex.htm.
Sincerely,

legislative reference bureau corrections
Corrections In:
Assembly Amendment 2
to Assembly Substitute Amendment 1,
to 1999 Assembly Bill 133
Prepared by the Legislative Reference Bureau
(August 4, 1999)
1. Page 31, line 17: After that line insert:
"127c. Page 176, line 14: after that line insert:
"(dr) Aeronautics assistance supplement, state funds SEG C -0- -0-".".
Note: The above correction is from the text of LRBb1245/3, all of which draft was intended to be included in Assembly amendment 2 to Assembly Substitute amendment 1 to Assembly Bill 133. Due to a technical drafting error in Item 2 of LRBb1245/3, Item 2 of that amendment was discarded by the "compile program" which assembled Assembly Amendment 2 to Assembly substitute amendment 1 to Assembly Bill 133. The above correction restores that item.
