Announcements, Adjournment Honors, and Remarks Under Special Privilege
Senator Erpenbach, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourns, it do so in honor of the retiring Senators, Senators Cullen, Jauch, Lehman and Schultz.
Senator Farrow, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourns, it do so in honor of Daniel Farrow, 22, and Barbara Vaitl, 79, both who are celebrating their birthdays today.
Senator Carpenter, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourns, it do so in honor of the U.S. military serving overseas. For the first time in more than seven years, there were zero combat casualties among U.S. military forces in Afghanistan during a full calendar month.
Senator Carpenter, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourns, it do so in honor of his constituents who have shown a commendable interest in civic participation by attending over 160 town halls and community listening sessions held in the 3rd Senate District.
