AB314,1,2 1An Act to amend 27.01 (15) of the statutes; relating to: electric receptacles at
2campsites in state parks.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, the ratio of campsites in state parks that have electric
receptacles as compared to all campsites in state parks must be equal to or less than
the ratio which existed on April 26, 1988. This bill changes this ratio to a maximum
of 50%. Therefore, under the bill not more than 50% of the campsites that are located
in state parks may have electric receptacles. The bill defines "state park campsite"
to be one that is accessible by a vehicle.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB314, s. 1 3Section 1. 27.01 (15) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB314,2,24 27.01 (15) Electric receptacles. The department shall maintain a ratio of
5number of state park campsites with an electric receptacle to receptacles shall be
6maintained by the department so that not more than 50% of
all state park campsites

8receptacles. For purposes of this subsection, "state park campsite" means a campsite
