AB740,1,2 An Act to amend 30.204 (1) of the statutes; relating to: the lake acidification experiment at Little Rock Lake.

Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau

Under current law, the department of natural resources may conduct a lake acidification project on Little Rock Lake in Vilas County by artificially acidifying the lake. Under current law, the experiment must be completed by January 1, 1996. This bill extends this date to January 1, 2002.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

AB740, s. 1 Section 1. 30.204 (1) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB740,1,6 30.204 (1) Authorization. Between May 15, 1984 and January 1, 1996 2002, the department is authorized to conduct a lake acidification experiment on the lake specified under sub. (2).
