AJR93,1,1 Relating to: proclaiming National Garden Week in Wisconsin.

AJR93,1,3 Whereas, gardening is an illustration of respect and care for our environment and natural resources; and

AJR93,1,5 Whereas, the gardeners and growers of the state of Wisconsin produce fruits and vegetables that provide nutritional sustenance for our citizens; and

AJR93,1,7 Whereas, these gardeners work diligently to beautify our communities by the propagation of trees, flowers and ornamentals; and

AJR93,1,9 Whereas, our gardeners help to preserve our American traditions in an expression of independence, creativity and initiative; now, therefore, be it

AJR93,1,12 Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the legislature of the state of Wisconsin proclaim June 2 to June 8, 1996, as "National Garden Week in Wisconsin".
