10despicable and outrageous behavior against Shannon Faulkner; and

12have made them a national spectacle of which America should be ashamed; and

Whereas, Shannon Faulkner, unlike her male counterparts, has proved herself
14to be competent to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States;

Whereas, Shannon Faulkner dared mighty things and won; now, therefore, be

1Resolved by the assembly, That the members of the Wisconsin Assembly
2commend and thank Shannon Faulkner for her courage, strength and excellent
3example to all men and women and wish her the best in her future endeavors; and,
4be it further

5Resolved, That the members of the Wisconsin Assembly request the
6Wisconsin congressional delegation to seek discontinuation of all federal funding to
7the Citadel; and, be it further

8Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide a copy of this resolution
9to Shannon Faulkner, the members of Wisconsin's congressional delegation, the
10Secretary of Defense, the speaker of the South Carolina General Assembly and the
11attorney general of South Carolina.
