SB103,1,2 1An Act to amend 121.15 (1) (a), 121.15 (1) (c) and 121.15 (1) (e) of the statutes;
2relating to: the school aid distribution schedule.

Under current law, each school district receives 15% of its total aid entitlement
in September, 25% in December, 25% in March and 35% in June.
This bill provides that each school district receives one-sixth of its total aid
entitlement in September, November, January, March, May and June.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB103, s. 1 3Section 1. 121.15 (1) (a) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB103,1,84 121.15 (1) (a) Each school district shall receive 15% one-sixth of its total aid

SB103, s. 2 9Section 2. 121.15 (1) (c) of the statutes is amended to read:

2aid entitlement for each district shall be computed on the basis of the budget and
3membership report under s. 121.05.
SB103, s. 3 4Section 3. 121.15 (1) (e) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB103,2,85 121.15 (1) (e) Payments under this subsection shall be made on the first
6Monday of the month for the December payment November, January and May
7payments
, on the 3rd Monday of the month for the September and June payments
8and on the 4th Monday of the month for the March payment.

SB103,2,11 10(1)  This act first applies to the distribution of state aid in the fiscal year
11commencing after the effective date of this subsection.
