1An Act to affect 1983 Wisconsin Act 162, section
1 (2) (c);
relating to: certain
2submerged lands conveyed to the city of Racine for park, recreational and public
3facilities.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under
1983 Wisconsin Act 162, the state conveyed to the city of Racine a
submerged parcel of land on the bed of Lake Michigan. That act authorized the
construction of public park facilities, marinas, docks, roads and other structures on
the parcel of land. The act also authorized the construction and operation of a
restaurant on the parcel for improving the recreational quality of the marina for the
general public. This bill authorizes the construction and operation of a swimming
pool for the same purpose.
Because this bill concerns a conveyance of a lake bed area, the department of
natural resources, as required by law, will prepare a detailed report to be printed as
an appendix to this bill.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
