This bill requires the department of transportation to repave a portion of I 43
in Milwaukee County to eliminate the tined surface.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB136, s. 1 2Section 1. Nonstatutory provisions; transportation.
SB136,1,8 3(1)  The department of transportation shall repave that portion of I 43 with a
4tined surface beginning before Henry Clay Street and extending beyond Bender and
5Devon streets in Milwaukee County, no later than 6 months after the effective date
6of this subsection, for the purpose of eliminating the tined surface. The department
7shall expend funds from the appropriation under section 20.395 (3) (cq) or (cx) of the
8statutes for the repaving project.
