SB154,1,2 1An Act to amend 121.15 (1) (a) and 121.15 (1) (e) of the statutes; relating to:
2the school aid distribution schedule.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, each school district receives 15% of its total aid entitlement
in September, 25% in December, 25% in March and 35% in June. Payment is made
on the 3rd Monday in September, the first Monday in December and the 4th Mondays
in March and June.
Beginning in the 1996-97 school year, this bill increases the percentage paid
in September from 15% to 25% and decreases the percentage paid in June from 35%
to 25%. The bill also requires that the payments be made on the 3rd Monday in each
month.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
