SB25,1,2 1An Act to create 84.1036 of the statutes; relating to: designating and marking
2a certain portion of STH 49 as the "Flyway Highway".
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Current law requires the department of transportation (DOT) to designate and
mark certain highway routes and bridges to memorialize, commemorate or recognize
certain individuals or events. This bill directs DOT to designate and mark a portion
of STH 49 as the "Flyway Highway" in recognition of the Horicon marsh and the
spring and fall migration of Canada geese.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB25, s. 1 3Section 1. 84.1036 of the statutes is created to read:
SB25,1,7 484.1036 Flyway highway. In recognition of the Horicon marsh and the spring
5and fall migration of Canada geese, the department shall designate and mark as the
6"Flyway Highway" STH 49 commencing at its junction with USH 41 in Dodge County
7and proceeding westerly to its junction with CTH "AW" near Waupun.
