AJR102,1,53 Whereas, for 30 years the Council on Worker's Compensation has provided a
4forum for Wisconsin employers and employes to collaborate in recommending to the
5legislature changes in the Wisconsin worker's compensation law; and
AJR102,1,86 Whereas, the wisdom of the Council on Worker's Compensation has helped to
7mold and refine the Wisconsin worker's compensation law as necessary to address
8emerging issues; and
AJR102,1,129 Whereas, the guidance of the Council on Worker's Compensation has
10contributed to the stability of the Wisconsin worker's compensation program over the
11past 30 years and to the recognition that Wisconsin has the finest worker's
12compensation program in the nation; and
AJR102,1,1513 Whereas, the Council on Worker's Compensation and the legislature have
14enjoyed a cooperative working relationship and exchange of information for the past
1530 years; and

1Whereas, February 18, 1998, marks the 30th anniversary of the creation of the
2Council on Worker's Compensation; now, therefore, be it
AJR102,2,9 3Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the
4Wisconsin legislature join together to recognize the Council on Worker's
5Compensation for its significant contribution to the employers and employes of this
6state, to thank the past and present members of the Council on Worker's
7Compensation for their help in making Wisconsin's worker's compensation program
8the premier program in the nation and to congratulate those past and present
9members on that accomplishment; and, be it further
AJR102,2,11 10Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide a copy of this joint
11resolution to each member of the Council on Worker's Compensation.
