AJR25,1,1 Relating to: the life and public service of Eugene Zdroik.

AJR25,1,3 Whereas, Eugene Zdroik was born on December 9, 1928, in the Town of Albin in Portage County, and died on November 29, 1996, in Stevens Point; and

AJR25,1,5 Whereas, for many years he and his sons conducted 2 businesses, Lakeview Farms and Eugene Zdroik and Sons, Inc.; and

AJR25,1,7 Whereas, for more than 30 years he was a member of the Town of Albin board and for part of that time served as the board's chair; and

AJR25,1,9 Whereas, Mr. Zdroik was also a member of the Portage County Board for more than 30 years; and

AJR25,1,12 Whereas, he was active in St. Adalbert's Church; serving as a member of the choir, a eucharistic minister and a member of the parish council; and in the Lions Club; now, therefore, be it

AJR25,1,16 Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the Wisconsin legislature commend Mr. Eugene Zdroik's many years of devoted public service, express their sorrow at his death and extend their condolences to his family and friends; and, be it further

AJR25,2,3 Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide copies of this joint resolution to Mr. Zdroik's wife, Jane, and to his children; Robert, John, James, Charles, Joseph, Richard, Clare Ann, Nancy and Greg.
